High Thermal Mass

Concrete’s high density gives it a high thermal mass, the ability to absorb, store, and slowly release heat energy. This scientifically-proven property is the cornerstone of passive solar design. A well-placed concrete wall or floor can absorb heat from winter sun, releasing it slowly overnight to stabilize the indoor temperature. This dramatically reduces energy consumption while creating a superior level of gentle, radiant thermal comfort.
Formwork Texture Transfer

A polished finish closes the pores of the stone and creates a near-mirror-like surface that reveals the full depth, colour, and crystalline structure of the material. We use this not to create bling, but to create a dynamic dialogue with light. A polished surface brings movement into a space, reflecting the shifting light of the day and the subtle colours of the surrounding environment, making the material feel alive and responsive.
Glass Fiber Reinforcement
TX–03
By reinforcing concrete with glass fibers instead of traditional steel rebar, we can create Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC). This allows for the casting of much thinner, lighter, and more complex forms with a higher tensile strength. GFRC is the key to creating refined, lightweight concrete elements like kitchen worktops, furniture, and intricate facade panels that would be impossible with traditional concrete.
