Stone is often chosen for its permanence, but its true power lies in how it changes. Rather than selecting a surface that remains static, we choose stone for its capacity to develop character through light, touch, and time. The material becomes a record of inhabitation, each mark, each weathering, each shift in tone tells the story of how a space has been lived in. Our work is to select the right stone and the right finish to guide that story.

Surface Properties
Honed Finish
TX–01
A honed finish is created by stopping the polishing process before the stone becomes reflective. This results in a soft, matte surface that diffuses light, creating a gentle glow rather than a sharp glare. It is a finish that invites touch, feeling warmer and softer than polished stone, and is ideal for creating serene, intimate environments where quiet and comfort are the primary luxuries.
Polished Finish
TX–02
A polished finish closes the pores of the stone and creates a near-mirror-like surface that reveals the full depth, colour, and crystalline structure of the material. We use this not to create bling, but to create a dynamic dialogue with light. A polished surface brings movement into a space, reflecting the shifting light of the day and the subtle colours of the surrounding environment, making the material feel alive and responsive.
Flamed Finish
TX–03
By subjecting the stone to intense heat, the surface crystals fracture and pop, creating a rough, deeply textured, and inherently slip-resistant surface. This raw, elemental finish is ideal for connecting interior and exterior spaces, providing a tactile and safe surface for wet areas. It is a way of returning the stone to a more primal state, emphasizing its strength and connection to the natural world.
